Thanksgiving with the Virginia branch of the Hickmans

Bryan and I really enjoyed our first Thanksgiving together. It was great having Beth and Jason here. We ate a lot, took naps, and even managed some sight-seeing. We also played a lot of the game "Scene It." It's movie trivia, so I'm sure you can guess why it's Bryan's favorite game.

I was pretty proud of the place settings -- watch out, Martha Stewart!

We took Beth and Jason to Mount Vernon, George Washington's estate. This is the view of the Potomac out his back door.

Did you know that the First Hickman in America, Nathaniel Hickman, Spent his life in Virginia? He was born about 1600 in England and died in Virginia in about 1654. All of his children were born in Virginia. So good to be back! So glad you had a good time for Thanksgiving. So excited to see you for the holidays.
