Beth and her accident

We spent most of the evening at McKay Dee Hospital. Beth and some of her little school children were struck while walking across the street. Beth received a pretty good bump on the head and a road rasberry on her shoulder. She is stiff and sore but should recover soon. One of the little girls broke her collar bone. The driver and passenger in the Ford Expedition recieved no injuries.

Graham is getting too big too fast. I was sad yesterday when I had to bathe him in the bathtub instead of the sink because he's so big. He's eating oatmeal in the morning and at night now. He's learning the whole spoon thing slowly but surely. He had croop and then bronchialitis, but he's over all that for now.....I hope. He has rolled over twice on his own.

Our neighbors and everyone at church says that Lucy and Graham look so much alike. I think the last few months he's started looking more like her. Lucy likes to ride on the back of the walker and skoot him fast along the linoleum. She gets him laughing pretty hard. This morning Lucy informed me that she was going to be nice today. So far so good. She took a big spill this afternoon when she was twirling like a princess. She twirled too fast and hit her nose on the table. She got a bloody nose and cried for a really long time. She's dancing again now, though.

Getting In

Getting into the blog posting was kind of tricky, but here I am!!! I don't have any great thoughts, but last night at "New Beginnings" in Young Women one of the girls gave a talk about gratitude. She told the story of the 10 lepers. I was sad to think that I may not have been the one to come back and express thanks. I am sure I would have meant to, but I would have put it off after visiting my family and doing a few things. Soon I would have forgotten. I am going to try to put gratitude on the front burner. As you kids know, I often see the undone first!!!
Just a reminder to us all, we have so much to be thankful for.
We don't get to see this guy much, so would those in the know tell us a little bit about what's been going on with him.

This is my First Post on the new Blog. I am putting this together so our family members can communicate and talk to each other about their interests. Maybe it will be fun or maybe boring. Time will tell.
